Spring 2010 - A New Attitude

Back by popular demand is the team blog. All the highlights, the memories, the highs and the lows of the FRIDAY OFFICE HANGOVER (FOH) season will be recapped in great detail. To start, there are only highs.

FOH is 2-0 to start the season, winning the first two games by scores of 10-0 and 14-5. Domination.

Highlights from last week's win over Scorgasm include:

-Leland and his unheralded confidence on the diamond. Also, his swinging strikeout. In Kickball.

-+35 mph winds, making it extremely difficult to catch. thus making the of outfielders and infielders look like little leaguers.

-No one kneeling when the other team's player broke his ankle.

-Hearing his ankle pop from the sideline.....and envisioning a Joe Theisman-esque injury. Would that make Nicki "LT" in that situation? Team EMT John Varney stated "That was the most calm, low pain break I have ever witnessed. That is ridiculous! Hope the EMTs aren't liable for leaving him on a park bench in the dark."

-Team drunk/physician Dr. Leland's diagnosis: "May be a bad sprain, sometimes they really swell up when you do that. This may explain why your foot is cocked at the wrong ankle. Or it's broken."

-Watching Derr get thrown out at home 2 times in the same game and watching him whiff on a kick. "He plays golf, not kickball". Classic.

-The Girls and their stellar kicking and on base percentage. Good Job.

-Steveo ensuring our lead with a much needed homerun. The foot is finally healed!

-Watching Leland make a great "drunk" catch on 1st base.

-Praying that the "Sleeve Monster" didn't attack anyone on our team, unfortunately he attacked the Captain on the other team. Tragic.

-Berger, for missing the game and be demoted to the bottom of the roster. Congrats.
